Open Houses:
Experience the vibrant life of FIU! Attend an Open House. These events are held during the Fall and Spring semesters. The Fall Open House is designed for high school seniors and the Spring Open House is for admitted students. The focus of the Spring Open House is to assist students with the transition to a university environment. These events are limited to 1,000 participants.
What to Expect:
• Explore career opportunities
• Learn about Admissions, Financial Aid, Scholarship opportunities and Campus Life
• Participate in an Academic Resource Fair
• Join the academic departments for an information session
• Meet the representatives from the Honors College
• Explore state of the art facilities

Our Open House sessions are at capacity.
We encourage all admitted students to secure their seat by
paying their $200 tuition deposit by May 1st and signing up for Orientation.

Campus Tour:
We've made it easy for you! Just give us one hour and see for yourself what FIU has to offer. Visit us for an information session, guided tour, or both, Monday-Friday at 10:00 am or at 3:00 pm (excluding state holidays). We also offer Departmental Information Sessions. These tours are limited to 30 participants.
What to Expect:
• Discover academics
• Learn about admissions, financial aid , scholarship opportunities
• Explore state of the art facilities
• Meet the tour guides and learn about FIU from a students’ prospective

Panther Walk:
Experience the personalized attention that FIU offers! Attend a Panther Walk. This event allows students and parents/guardians an opportunity to view the university. Representatives are available to provide admissions counseling and personalized attention which each student deserves. Panther Walks are offered various times throughout the year. These events are limited to 200 participants.
What to Expect:
• Learn about scholarships and financial assistance
• Explore career opportunities
• Meet your admissions counselors
• Explore state of the art facilities

Attend a regional information session in your area to learn more about the application process, academic programs, financial assistance, scholarships, student life and much more! Meet with other students considering FIU and FIU Alumni now living in your area.

On-SITE Admissions:
Meet with a university representative one-on-one to go over your application,scholarship opportunities, and campus life.
On-Site Admissions is available to high school students only. In order to make an admissions decision, each student must complete the online application at least 48 hours prior to the day of the event.
You will need to bring the following items to the event:
- $30 Application Fee (cash or check) or
SAT/ACT Application Fee waiver.
- Official High School Transcripts
- SAT and/or ACT Test Scores
