In response to the Chancellor of the Florida Board of Governors Emergency Order 2024-E0-01, Florida International University, is working to remove barriers for those students seeking to transfer to a Florida university because of a well-founded fear of discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or violence at an out-of-state, degree-granting, accredited institution, within the United States. You are a 9th, 10th or 11th grade student planning for college or interested in becoming a dual enrollment student.
You are a high school senior, you’ve earned fewer than 12 college credits and you’re attending college for the first time.
You are applying to FIU having earned your AA, 12 or more college credits, or military credits.
You want to attend a Florida public or community college to earn an AA degree and transfer to FIU within 2-3 years.
You have or are about to complete a bachelor’s degree or higher and want to earn a master’s, doctoral, specialist degree or graduate certificate.
You were previously enrolled at FIU as an undergraduate student and want to finish your degree.
You want to take college courses from FIU towards a degree at another university or simply for the love of learning.
You are non-U.S. citizen seeking an undergraduate or graduate degree.
Natural Disaster or Emergency Event

After you officially submit your application, changes to your term of entry (this change will only be considered if you are not yet admitted or a transfer student) , major, or contact information can be applied using the form below. Students requesting to move their enrollment to a later term must submit this form. Changes to GPA or test scores must be submitted through the appeals process.
Applicants
