Schedule a Group Tour

Bring your students to FIU. Group tours give them a real look at campus life, academic programs and student life. Tours fill quickly, so register early to get your preferred date. Choose a time that works for your group. If it’s not listed, it’s already booked.

Group tours are only for schools and educational organizations and are not available for individuals or families.

Tour Biscayne Bay Campus

Set on a waterfront campus in North Miami, FIU's Biscayne Bay Campus (BBC) offers a unique academic experience surrounded by the beauty of Biscayne Bay. BBC is home to some of FIU's highest-ranked programs and most innovative labs, giving students hands-on access to cutting-edge research and real-world learning opportunities

  • How do I register for a tour

    Register using our sign-up widget and choose the date and time that fits your schedule. You'll receive a confirmation email with your tour details. To cancel, use the Your Itinerary Page link in your confirmation email.

  • Who will be my tour guide?

    Your guide will be a current FIU student from one of our many majors and backgrounds, giving you a firsthand look at what campus life is really like.

  • What should I wear?

    Miami's weather can be warm with occasional rain showers, so come prepared! We'll adjust our tours to take advantage of shaded and covered areas as needed. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes, and bringing sunscreen or rain gear just in case.

  • What happens if there's extreme weather?

    We'll make the most of shaded and covered areas during your tour, but may need to shorten or cancel in cases of extreme heat or severe weather. The safety of our guests and guides is always our top priority.

Photo & Video Permissions

By visiting our campus, you acknowledge that photos and videos may be taken during your tour and used for marketing and promotional materials in print and online formats. Your presence on campus means you agree to the use of your likeness and voice without compensation. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please do not attend a campus tour.
