Get an Inside Look at What's Shaping College Admissions

We can't wait to see you. Mark your calendars for June 8–12, 2026. Get ready for a few days of real collaboration, great conversation and the kind of warm weather and good energy that only FIU and the 305 can deliver.

This year's Summit focuses on enrollment and admissions technology and operations, diving into the tools, systems and processes that power modern admissions offices and the platforms helping institutions navigate a rapidly changing landscape.

Meeting topics and agenda will be collected in April. As always, our goal is to ensure that our ACAOPU Meeting addresses the highlights and challenges we're facing in higher education, college admissions and enrollment management.

We encourage you to send members of your operations and technology teams for a few days of professional development, collaboration and yes, a little Miami magic.

Annual Meeting & Summit Agenda

We packed these five days with great sessions, good food and plenty of Miami magic. And every afternoon at 3:05 p.m., we stop for cafecito.

Not coffee. Cafecito. It's a daily Miami ritual rooted in Cuban culture, and it's your new favorite part of the day. A strong espresso brews in a stovetop cafetera, the first drops get whipped with sugar into a light foam called espumita, then mixed with the remaining espresso.

Simple, strong and built to last all day.

About ACAOPU

ACAOPU brings together chief admissions officers from 75 of the largest public research universities in the country. Throughout the year, members share ideas, exchange best practices and tackle the issues shaping the future of college admissions. It's where the people defining higher education come to think out loud, and this summer, we're doing it under palm trees at FIU.
